Gradual Pulp are nice at piano ballads. The Chicago indie rockers proved this with the gorgeous title monitor of 2023’s Yard, and now they’re proving it once more with the second Melodie single “Not For Nothing,” which is out at present.
“This track is me simply making an attempt to externalize very advanced feelings — of feeling caught, of not with the ability to change how I really feel, of my feelings permeating my life, and the heartbreak of my life altering in methods each sudden on my own and by others,” Henry Stoehr explains. “I really feel so many individuals have felt one thing equally, and I wished to jot down a track that might attain individuals the place they’re and provides them one thing concrete to know onto within the midst of a sense that’s exhausting to place into phrases.”
