
Matías Vivanco Brellenthin is a 3D digital artist and director from Santiago, Chile. He makes a speciality of surreal sci-fi and fantasy imagery constructed solely in Blender, and has labored with shoppers together with Nissan, NVIDIA, Lil Nas X, and TCHAMI.
Brellias began in 2017 making posters purely to apply coloration and composition, and has since developed a particular visible signature dominated by pink, blue, and particularly purple — a coloration he selected particularly as a result of it represents the decision of battle, “the merging of purple and blue, unhealthy and good, the nice and cozy within the chilly and the chilly within the heat.” His recurring themes are feelings, nostalgia, human connection, nature, and abandonment, usually expressed by way of unattainable, physics-defying compositions that blend on a regular basis objects with fantastical, dreamlike settings — his NVIDIA-featured piece “Estrellitas” (“little stars”), for instance, exhibits a younger lady holding stars in her hand with a conflicted expression, exploring the enjoyment and ache that include curiosity.

His type is often described as mixing vaporwave and cyberpunk aesthetics, and he works primarily in Blender and Photoshop, publishing new conceptual items on a near-weekly foundation for album covers, movies, music movies, and private tasks. Past his personal artwork, Brellias teaches 3D illustration by way of a Domestika course, “Improbable 3D Illustration with Blender,” and has been featured alongside main digital-art names like Beeple and Fvckrender in showcases of up to date CGI artwork.
