In 2014, Björn Yttling co-wrote and co-produced Chrissie Hynde’s debut solo album Stockholm. Now, the pair has teamed up once more for a canopy of the Doorways’ traditional 1967 tune “Individuals Are Unusual.”
On Friday (Oct. 9), Chrissie Hynde and Yttling Jazz debuted the duvet on the Swedish TV present På Spåret, the place Yttling Jazz are the home band for a couple of weeks, and a studio model was launched on streaming companies. We knew the duvet was coming after Hynde wrote in a latest weblog submit, “Not a lot musically to report on my finish, though I did go to Gothenburg a pair weeks in the past to sing with The Bjorn Yttling Jazz combo. You will keep in mind I did that Stockholm album with Bjorn about 10 years in the past. It is all the time good to hang around with these Swedes. And Bjorn’s Jazz album, Yttling Jazz, is nice. Glad to sing with them any time.”
