Lifting its title from Sara Teasdale’s 1918 poem ‘There Will Come Delicate Rains’, Vendrán Suaves Lluvias was recorded between Montréal, Barcelona, and Mexico Metropolis. It was written fully by Estrada, with orchestral preparations by Owen Pallett (Frank Ocean, The Nationwide, Haim).
“Vendrán Suaves Lluvias is the album I’ve been engaged on for the previous two or three years,” Estrada defined in a press release. “The songs have been born little by little, some for the reason that pandemic, others extra just lately. It encompasses my search to seek out myself and my important power. This undertaking was born from attempting to show discomfort into hope, from not stopping to see the sunshine regardless of the trend.”
She continued: “From the primary tune to the final, I attempted to create a journey that connects us with pleasure and motion. I wished power and hope to be the guiding thread all through the album.”
