UK band Lee Wright And The Incorrect’uns make their debut with “Feather Boa Thrower,” a catchy different monitor pushed by a punchy rhythm, infectious bassline, and glam rock swagger.
Impressed by an encounter on an evening out, the music tells the story of a girl referred to as Sadie. Frontman Lee Wright has loads of enjoyable with the lyrics, describing her feather boa, psychedelic go-go boots and kaleidoscopic sun shades. There’s some splendidly odd imagery alongside the way in which, together with a typewriter memoir and an artisanal cinnamon bun, giving the music loads of character.
The guitars and driving drums maintain issues shifting, with the low-end giving the monitor its distinctive groove. The refrain is one other spotlight, with Wright singing about wanting extra consideration and questioning what would possibly occur subsequent. It provides a catchy hook to a music that already has loads occurring.
Produced by Nick Russell, “Feather Boa Thrower” is an satisfying introduction to the band. With its energetic association, melodic refrain, and entertaining lyrics, it is a debut that makes a robust first impression. Lee Wright And The Incorrect’uns are clearly a band value keeping track of.
