A girl who had beforehand accused rapper and entrepreneur Jay-Z of assaulting her greater than 20 years in the past has recanted her allegations.
Jane Doe, as she is recognized in courtroom paperwork to guard her id, initially filed a civil lawsuit in 2024 claiming that Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter and media mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs drugged and raped her in 2000, when she was 13 years previous. On the time of the submitting, the lady was being represented by Texas legal professional Tony Buzbee, who had filed greater than a dozen sexual harassment lawsuits in opposition to Combs. The girl has now been dismissed as a defendant from Carter’s lawsuit. NPR reached out to the Buzbee Legislation Agency for remark, however has not heard again.
