A choice of work from illustrator Deb JJ Lee. Born in Seoul, Deb spent nearly all of their life on the East Coast of the USA. They graduated with a Bachelor’s diploma in Design from Carnegie Mellon College in 2018 and labored in Silicon Valley as a UX Designer earlier than pivoting to a profession in illustration. Now primarily based in Brooklyn, Deb’s work explores themes of fantasy and traditional Japanese animation. Their debut graphic novel, In Limbo, was revealed by First Second in 2023, adopted by The Different Aspect of Tomorrow, written by Tina Cho, via Harper Alley in 2024.
