Guitarist Mike Schleibaum commented on the observe:
“This music showcases our melodic demise metallic tendencies with a little bit of a contemporary twist. It attracts you deep right into a contemporary but acquainted DH sound. I really like the progressiveness of Nico’s solo, the intricacy of Travis’ drum work, Deal’s devastating low finish, John’s vocal supply, and lyrical density. This album is filled with each rage and technicality. It’s livid with targeted intent, and this music is an ideal instance of that in motion.”
Vocalist John Henry added:
“Lyrically, this music is supposed to achieve out to the intrapersonal warrior. The interior battle is usually an important battle we ever combat. This music touches on the concept of gaining management of your ideas, actions, and goal. It’s meant to be gas for motion.”
Schleibaum additionally mentioned the video:
“The video for ‘Warrior’ is closely impressed by one in every of our favourite motion pictures, Raging Bull AND one in every of our favourite music movies, ‘Mama Mentioned Knock You Out.’ This video is each enjoyable and difficult on the similar time.”
