Downtown Hollywood has a brand new spot for fried hen, caviar, and a bit late-night intrigue.
Frequent Room, from BOL Hospitality Group, is now open, serving American consolation meals with some decidedly luxe upgrades.
Government chef Tanya Evans, whose résumé contains Barton G and Main Meals Group, has created a menu that ranges from fried hen and lobster rolls topped with salmon roe to spicy rigatoni, prime rib French dips, and a Wagyu burger.
Martinis get their very own second, too. A cocktail program by Miami’s Unfiltered Hospitality contains customizable martini service, together with a choice of latest favorites.
The night doesn’t finish at dessert. After dinner, ask to be escorted to Frequent Room’s hidden gem: The Brooklyn Room is an invitation-only speakeasy entered via a secret passageway. The intimate hideaway serves cocktails named for Brooklyn neighborhoods in opposition to a soundtrack of old-school hip-hop and jazz.
