
The Atomium, a putting modernist construction in Brussels, was initially constructed for Expo 58 to represent scientific development and Belgian engineering prowess.
Designed by André Waterkeyn and designers André and Jean Polak, it options 9 interconnected spheres forming a magnified iron crystal, standing 102 meters tall. Inside, guests can discover exhibition areas, ascend by means of metal tubes, and dine in a panoramic restaurant on the prime. Although initially supposed as a short lived set up, its recognition led to its preservation and a serious renovation between 2004 and 2006. Right this moment, the Atomium serves as a museum and cultural hub, persevering with to captivate vacationers with its futuristic design and historic significance.
