A collection exploring positions of energy and dominance by photographer Patricia Voulgaris. An artist from New York, Voulgaris acquired her BFA from the College of Visible Arts and graduated with an MFA from the Yale College of Artwork in 2024. “The Hunter” attends to the narratives that outline hierarchies with our bodies floating aimlessly–glimpsed by way of home windows or forged by way of creativeness–suspended between presence and absence:
“These characters–relations, my accomplice, and myself–inhabit a constructed world the place we navigate energy and belonging, consistently shifting between visibility and obscurity. As I weave collectively private and fictional realms, I problem perceptions of authority and id, questioning who holds energy and who’s left to float within the shadows.”
