Ross “The Boss” Friedman has died on the age of 72. A founding member of Manwar and The Dictators, his loss of life comes a month after the announcement of his ALS prognosis, also called Lou Gehrig’s illness.
Manowar says in a press release: “It’s with nice unhappiness that we’ve discovered of the passing of Ross “The Boss” Friedman, following his just lately introduced ALS prognosis.
ALS is a uncommon and terminal neurodegenerative illness that assaults the nerve cells within the mind and spinal wire that management voluntary muscle motion.
“Music was Ross’s life, and he left his mark throughout each heavy metallic and punk rock.

Ross performed with Manowar on six full-length albums, leaving the band after 1988’s Kings Of Steel. He rode a solo profession below the title Ross The Boss on 4 full-length albums and his ultimate launch of music was Demise Vendor’s Reign Of Metal – issued in January.
