A collection of each day and bodily experiences by lens-based artist Hasti Najafi. Born in Tehran, and at present learning positive arts in Zurich, Najafi’s apply includes experimenting with the objects and experiences of on a regular basis life and exploring what stays hidden within the photographic picture. “Not Like This, You Moron!” (2023-2024) focuses on the interaction between Najafi’s physique, her environment, and the way the 2 name the opposite’s existence into query. The photographs are an intimate manifestation of life—each acquainted and unfamiliar—set in juxtaposition as a means of making one thing new.
