“‘Mesmerized’ is a music in regards to the gravity of human connection,” Monolink defined in a press launch. “It is about
vulnerability, give up, and the concern of entering into the unknown. It was the primary
music I wrote once we began engaged on my new album and it someway was
the sonic journey that it’s now.”
Within the music’s putting music video, directed by Nicola von Leffern and starring Jana McKinnon and Simon Frühwirth, we watch a pair’s passionate relationship change into fractured by a concern of abandonment. Filmed on a volcanic island in Italy referred to as Stromboli, the video expertly pairs with Monolink’s highly effective storytelling.
