From dropping letters in a mailbox to waving to neighbors and colleagues, the postwoman in Chris Ware’s new set of U.S. postage stamps does all of it. The forthcoming launch is rendered within the illustrator’s distinctive graphic fashion and commemorates 250 years of the US Postal Service. Every stamp depicts a person scene that, when considered collectively, collectively inform the story of a postal provider on her route by all 4 seasons.
Ware co-designed the stamps, which shall be launched on July 23, with artwork director Antonio Alcalá. You’ll be able to pre-order a sheet now. (through Kottke)
