A ravishing collection by Nicolas Denolle. Born in France and at the moment primarily based in San Francisco, California, Denolle studied Graphic Design at ÉCAL (College of Arts & Design) in Switzerland. A multidisciplinary artist and Artwork Director at Apple, Denolle explores the intersections of design, images, and visible storytelling with a watch for simplicity, element, and kind. “California Goals” is an ongoing venture that considers the timeless great thing about nature, mixing statement and creativeness to create a poetic and atemporal language:
“My newest collection is a visible essay formed by lengthy explorations by the numerous lands of California, from mineral coastlines to excessive deserts and conifer forests. Alongside the best way, I {photograph} rocks, bushes, and native flora, assembling them into an imagined geography. Shot on medium format movie, the work evokes melancholy for a world which will now not exist, or maybe by no means actually did, besides in vacationers’ tales.”
