A group of current works by artist Serolod. Born in Greece, and at present based mostly in London, Serolod explores the fluidity of notion, the interaction of color and type, and the juxtaposition between modern and conventional mediums. She begins with digitally altered imagery which she then transforms by means of paint, creating one thing each managed and spontaneous.
“A key side of my work is the exploration of duality and the interconnectedness of all issues. My color palette attracts on “adverse” or complementary colors—the opposites of the pure hues our senses are conditioned to acknowledge. By shifting focus to those often-overlooked colors, I query the character of notion and actuality, revealing how restricted and subjective our understanding of the world really is. This deliberate inversion encourages viewers to suppose past what is instantly seen, hinting at unseen dimensions and alternative routes of experiencing the universe.”
Impressed by Einstein’s principle of common relativity, Serolod’s work replicate how the smallest particules and the biggest cosmic constructions are woven collectively. For Serolod, all the things exists in a state of flux, interconnected and alive. “Actuality is Relative” is on show at Almine Rech London till July twenty sixth.
