Vines – the venture of Brooklyn artist Cassie Wieland – has introduced her debut album, I’ll be right here. Following 2023’s Birthday Get together EP, the 10-track effort will probably be launched on July 18. On the mesmerizing lead single ‘Evicted’, Wieland repeats the questions, “Am I getting sick/ Or am I over it/ Am I being born/ Or simply evicted,” piling one sonic layer after one other. “‘Evicted’ is the primary tune with lyrics that I wrote for this report,” Wieland defined in a press release. “It’s about going by a transitional interval in your life and never figuring out the place it’s going. I’m reflecting on the insecurity and discomfort that may include therapeutic.”
