On Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025, Feeding South Florida®, the main hunger-relief group in South Florida, will host its Annual Outrun Starvation 5K Miami. Runners, walkers, households and group leaders of all ages will come collectively to take steps to lift funds and consciousness to finish starvation in South Florida at Tropical Park in Miami.
At the moment, in South Florida, there are over 1.2 million meals insecure people, and one in 9 people in South Florida stay unsure about the place they may get their subsequent meal as a result of inflation, the strained provide chain, rising gasoline costs and elevated housing prices, amongst different components.
