Seattle indie rock mainstays Chastity Belt are gearing up for the discharge of their new album All My Pals — no relation to LCD Soundsystem — on the finish of the week. They have been previewing the album in two-song chunks, sharing “I Might Say Much less” and “Pavement” adopted by “To Resolve” and “Designs.” As we speak, we’re getting one final single, the beautiful “Pals For This.”
“I wrote the lyrics for this music proper after transferring again from England,” says guitarist/vocalist Lydia Lund. “It was a time the place it felt sooo good to reconnect with my buddies after spending the final two years away from Seattle. We had a lot of sleepovers. We had a variety of enjoyable recording vocals for this music in my basement with Julia, Gretchen and Samur. Gretchen recorded some fairly wonderful wails for the top of this music. I believe in the event you pay attention actually intently, you may hear them.” Pay attention under.
