Work by Singapore-born artist Claudia Koh. Exploring the connection between human expertise, structure, and cultivated environments, Koh attracts from Singapore’s city panorama, home areas, and programs of care. Her work examines how people navigate constructions that concurrently help and constrain on a regular basis life—investigating themes of belonging, resilience, and coexistence by way of imagined scenes that blur the boundaries between the constructed and natural worlds. Formed by an curiosity within the rising tensions of latest life, Koh’s work converse to the methods wherein technological development and our rising connectivity exist alongside experiences of isolation, anxiousness, and social fragmentation.
