Bristol’s Getdown Companies have been unleashing acerbic post-punk tunes since 2021. The band is made up of childhood finest buddies Josh Regulation and Ben Sadler, they usually have two albums underneath their belt: 2023’s Crisps and 2025’s Crumbs 2. At this time they’re sharing a brand new monitor referred to as “The Radiator.”
“This tune is about solely choosing fights that you already know you’ll win,” Regulation says. “It happened as a result of the heating wouldn’t come on as soon as and I considered once we bang issues to make them work. Ben as soon as advised me that he used to threaten his PlayStation 1 when video games wouldn’t load fast sufficient. The sense of victory you get once you really feel such as you’ve bodily intimidated an inanimate object into doing what you need is weird and pathetic and actually humorous.”
