The brand new Santa Plaga EP is out on the important Denver hardcore label Convulse. It begins with a bang and doesn’t relent over the course of its five-song, 14-minute run. The vocals are constantly fierce, typically veering into melodic territory and typically descending into sheer sonic violence. The music follows swimsuit. It is a rip-roaring, hold-on-tight, holy-fucking-shit wow-wow-wow yeah-yeah-yeah sort expertise. I like to recommend it.
