Hannah Lew is understood for enjoying in San Francisco post-punk bands Grass Widow and Chilly Beat, and now she’s going solo. Her self-titled debut LP arrives in April, and we get a style at this time with the sonically groovy, lyrically gloomy lead single “One other Twilight.”
“‘One other Twilight’ is a goodbye tune,” the musician says. “It is about coming to phrases with change and being OK with it. Form of the turning level the place lamenting over a break up turns into possession of a present state, not dwelling on the previous. It is about shifting on!”
