These are my high 5 songs of 2025. No. 5: “Exhausting Fought Hallelujah” by Brandon Lake and Jelly Roll. ”— hard-fought, heartfelt, been via hell hallelujah.” Think about if salvation was like a WWE match. No. 4: “Get Jiggy” by B Jack$ that includes Zeddy Will. “One, two, step within the field (get jiggy). One, two, step within the field (get jiggy).” There’s no strategy to be in a nasty temper whenever you’re listening to this hip home revival. No. 3: “LV Sandals” by EsDeeKid, Fakemink and Rico Ace. Generally you hear a refrain, and you’re going to be listening to it for the remainder of your life. That is that refrain. No. 2: “Gnarly” by Katseye. “Boba tea (Gnarly), Tesla (Gnarly).” The evolution of Okay-pop? “Gnarly.” The way forward for lady teams? “Gnarly.” The expansion of automotive songs? “Gnaaaarly.” And the very best music of 2025: “Caramel” by Sleep Token. There’s actually not a single second on this music that doesn’t deliver me intense pleasure. “Follow me like caramel.” It mixes up genres, types, volumes. Each single one provides collectively to an uproarious, superb, hilarious mix that’s an ideal strategy to cap this 12 months off. A lovely nightmare.
