Some songs simply make you are feeling immediately nonetheless, immediately calm. They make you understand that perhaps you’ve got been holding your breath for some time and you may lastly let go. That was the fast response I had with “Kabul,” the newest single from Chicago post-rock supergroup Pullman.
Pullman is Ken “Bundy Okay.” Brown (Tortoise/Instructions In Music), Curtis Harvey (Rex), Chris Brokaw (Come), and Doug McCombs (Tortoise/Eleventh Dream Day) and drummer Tim Barnes. They’re releasing their latest album III this coming January through Western Vinyl. “Kabul” is the second preview from the forthcoming challenge.
Brokaw added on the brand new music: “Kabul. Dig deep. Banjo nod to the East. Throw it within the mail and into Bundy’s blender. Again to the boys and out into the ether. Boiling weeds for soup ain’t no option to stay.”
Take heed to “Kabul” under.
III is out 1/09 through Western Vinyl. Pre-order right here.
