It is a busy time to be the Gorillaz. Again in September, just some days after Damon Albarn and firm wrapped up their huge Home Of Kong residency in London, the band introduced that their new album The Mountain can be arriving in March. However first, they’re bringing the world of Kong stateside.
At this time Gorillaz introduced a Home Of Kong residency at Los Angeles’ Rolling Greens, which is able to happen over a four-week run from Feb. 26 to March 19, 2026. Like its London predecessor, Home Of Kong LA might be an immersive museum-style exhibit celebrating 25 years of the storied cartoon band. Together with that, Gorillaz will play two one-off exhibits on Feb. 22 and 23 on the Hollywood Palladium.
Gorillaz did 4 exhibits for Home Of Kong London, and every evening, they performed a special album of theirs in full: Gorillaz on evening one Demon Days on evening two, Plastic Seashore (and a few extras) on evening three, and the then-unannounced The Mountain on evening 4.
