Maye (Victorien Liria) is a French painter and avenue artist from Sète identified for tall, elastic characters and extremely detailed surreal scenes that stretch between mural and canvas work.
A self‑taught graffiti artist who began portray partitions as an adolescent, he now strikes fluidly between avenue interventions and studio work the place dreamlike figures, animals and machines work together in poetic, barely melancholic narratives about nature, expertise and the fragility of the human–atmosphere relationship. His murals and canvases usually function elongated limbs, floating objects, and luxurious but crumbling landscapes, creating an “city surrealism” that feels each playful and quietly vital.
